Writing community on Mastodon <3
I like it so much.
We play prompt-games which are fun and inspiring, to say the least. We help each other with theoretical questions, cheer each other up, support.
I feel like there are a lot of smart, mature, creative people who understand that what we do is pointless. It's art. It's about the joy of creating.
It's so nice to share my interest with other people and talk about this little silly writing hobby and to have the chance for a community. I really appreciate that. (I am pretty sure that most of us are introverts. That's unrelated but I just felt like saying it.)
Also, I like that it’s very accepting. Nobody would laugh about your story idea, no matter how wild it is. The majority actually is writing fantasy stories. It’s so so interesting to see what other people tell stories about.
Sometimes I feel a bit boring in comparison, because of the lack of witches or aliens in my stories. (Yet.) But again, they are very accepting. :)
